Connecting journalists, photographers and newsrooms worldwide.
The IOIJ Journalists & Press Network is an international network connecting newsrooms, journalists, independent reporters, photographers and other media professionals who are open to professional collaboration.
In response to an enquiry, IOIJ may contact relevant network participants in the requested country or region and, subject to their agreement, facilitate direct communication between the parties.
Local Support for Journalists and Newsrooms
Through the IOIJ network, we also help facilitate local organisational, production and logistical support for journalists, newsrooms and media teams working internationally.
Depending on the availability of local contacts and resources, collaboration may include local coordination, interpretation, transportation, assistance in establishing contacts, or support in preparing news reports, interviews and filming assignments.
Opportunities for Professional Collaboration
Our network connects local correspondents, journalists, reporters, photographers, video journalists, analysts and other media professionals.
Areas of collaboration may include political, crime, social affairs, business, cultural, sports and general news coverage, as well as local production, organisational and logistical assistance.
Professional specialisations, geographical coverage and the availability of potential collaborators are assessed individually for each enquiry.
Network Membership and Registration
The network is open to journalists, reporters, photographers, media analysts, newsrooms and other media professionals.
Participation is open to IOIJ press card holders, members of other journalists‘ organisations, newsroom representatives and independent media professionals.
The network also welcomes individuals and organisations providing local production, technical, organisational, logistical and other support services to journalists and media teams.
